Further selection of "Han® Hoods/Housings"

Guide pins and bushes are recommended for the following connectors: 72, 108, 144 and 216 poles

Current carrying capacity

The current carrying capacity is limited by maximum temperature of materials for insert and contacts including terminals. The current capacity-curve is valid for continuous, not interrupted current-loaded contacts of connectors when simultaneous power on all contacts is given, without exceeding the maximum temperature.
Control and test procedures according to DIN IEC 60512-5.

Application

Interface between PCB and cabinet wall with a Han® 42 DD male insert in circuit with a PCB-adapter.

Modified contact arrangement

The connector series Han DD® equipped with all contacts may be used for voltages up to 250 V ~ insulation group C . A modified contact loading arrangement permits use up to 500 V ~ also in insulation group C .

Fully equipped connectors may also be used up to 500 V ~ but in a lower insulation group . See table 4

According to VDE 0627 connectors should not be coupled or decoupled under electrical load.
